Our Mission
The mission of the accounting area of the Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans is to enable undergraduate students to develop the accounting knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes they will need to succeed as competent, ethical professionals. Additionally, the area seeks to prepare students to be leaders and decision makers in a diverse, worldwide community of business, government, and not-for-profit organizations. This will be accomplished through a broad-based, liberal arts education consistent with the values characteristic of Jesuit higher education and congruent with developing the student as a total person.
