Our Mission
The purpose of the bachelor of business administration degree with a concentration in finance is to provide students with: 1) a sound understanding of the financial environment within which individuals and firms must operate; 2) a productive working knowledge of the techniques of financial planning and analysis commonly used for the solution of financial problems; and 3) the ability to identify financial problems and decisions that may not be readily apparent and to select productive and ethical methods for analysis and solution. Emphasis is placed on developing in students logical, organized, and ethical approaches to analysis that can be applied to a wide range of practical problems.
