Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing
Catherine Lenihan is a graduate of Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business. She teaches classes in multiple aspects of marketing, including branding, consumer behavior, and advertising & promotions. She brings to the classroom years of professional experience in Fortune 500 corporations including Chiquita and Pepsi Bottling Company, local marketing agencies, and higher education workforce development.
Catherine previously worked for Delgado Community College in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. While there, she was the Director for Small Business Support and taught for the local and national program for Babson College.
Catherine actively supports and promotes the Jesuit commitment to faith, justice and service through providing a classroom environment of introspection and intellectual rigor. Her classes feature meaningful service learning projects that build the student's portfolio and give them the opportunity to make an impact in the New Orleans community.
Catherine is an active member of the New Orleans community, serving on boards and committees including the Junior League of New Orleans, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and serves as a mentor for the Capital One "Avanzando Su Negocio" program.
