Floyd del Corral Receives Adjutor Hominum Award

Floyd del Corral, B’51 (right), receives the alumni association’s prestigious Adjutor Hominum Award.The alumni association presented the 2003 Adjutor Hominum Award to Floyd del Corral, B’51, at the annual Alumni Association Luncheon.

The Adjutor Hominum Award, the alumni association’s most prestigious honor, recognizes an outstanding Loyola graduate whose life demonstrates the values and philosophy of Jesuit education represented by Loyola, namely moral character, service to human-ity, and unquestionable integrity.

Del Corral has been an active member of the CBA Alumni Board for more than 10 years, and was named CBA Alumnus of the Year, along with his brother, in 1998. He has also acted as a host committee chair for his class of 1953, and is a regular phone-a-thon participant. In addition, del Corral recently served as chair to raise funding for two faculty pro-fessorships, as well as vice chair for a recent capital campaign drive to fund several instrumental campus endowments at Loyola.

Del Corral and his wife of 51 years, Gail, have four children and six grandchildren.
