Emmanuel is a Business Analytics Lecturer in the College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans. He specializes in machine learning, data analytics, applied econometrics, and healthcare analytics. Dr. Chike’s research bridges the gap between advanced computational methods and real-world business and public policy applications, with a focus on predictive modeling, AI-driven decision science, and policy outcomes.

He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Texas Tech University in 2025, where he explored the application of interpretable machine learning and event study methods to analyze health policy and outcomes. Dr. Chike also holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Texas Tech University, a Master of Arts in Economics from Georgia State University, where he received the Outstanding Master’s Student Award, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics (First Class Honors, Summa Cum Laude equivalent) from Gregory University in Nigeria.

Before joining Loyola, he served as an Instructor and Research Assistant at Texas Tech University and as an Economist intern at GM Financial. As an intern, he developed and deployed an automated model predicting residual vehicle values to identify risk exposure compared to competing brands. He has also engaged in research and consulting across financial, policy, and academic institutions. His scholarly contributions include publications in leading journals and a book chapter, as well as ongoing research projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence applications, management decision science, healthcare analytics, and business innovation.
