Julie Quick

Julie has over 30 years of IT management experience and has worked in various management capacities at Leidos for the past 18 years.   Leidos is a Fortune 500® information technology, engineering, and science solutions and services leader working to solve the world's toughest challenges in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets.  Leidos has annual revenue of $12.3 billion, operates around the world and has over 33,000 employees.  Leidos has been an IT service provider at Entergy since 2000.  Julie is currently the IT Projects Director, responsible for project management, overall project execution, customer satisfaction, and championing continuous process improvements with our client Entergy.  Prior to her role as Projects Director, Julie was a Customer Service Manager and Project Portfolio Manager on the Entergy program. One of the biggest challenges in all of these roles is balancing the daily tactical issues with the strategic issues that will ultimately ensure Leidos’ continued long term success at Entergy.

In addition to utilities experience, Julie also has IT experience in the healthcare industry. Julie was the Director of Technical Services at Ochsner Health Systems.  She also worked for an IT outsourcing company in various account & project management roles for a variety of customers, including Ochsner, CBS/Viacom, Media.net, Farmland Insurance, and Sabreliner.

Julie attended Loyola University in New Orleans, LA, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. She was a member of Theta Phi Alpha sorority.

Julie earned her Master of Business Administration from Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, LA, while working full-time at Lykes Bros. Steamship, which is where she began her Information Technology career as a systems programmer before moving into IT management. Julie worked at Lykes for 9 years.

Outside of work, her hobbies include tennis, pilates, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys giving back to her community by doing volunteer work.

Julie has been a Loyola Executive Mentor since 2008 and is happy to be co-mentoring again this year with her husband, Andy Quick.
