Program Details
When do MBA classes meet?
At Loyola, we offer a combination of once a week, on-campus evening classes (Mondays from 6:20 to 9:35 PM for example) or twice a week on-campus evening classes (Tuesday and Thursdays from 4:55 to 6:10 PM).
Classes in LMU and SKEMA will be offered both in the morning and afternoons.
What degrees will I earn? Why is the program called Global MBA-Triple Master?
The Global MBA- Triple Master program allows students to obtain an MBA from Loyola University (first 45 credit hours) and two optional specialized Masters degrees from our partner universities (with additional 15 credit hour thesis project).
If the student chooses to complete the optional Masters Thesis Project at either university, they will graduate with their Loyola MBA, plus a “Grande Ecole” degree, a five-year pre-experience qualification, which is a Master degree in Management accredited by the French Ministry of Education from SKEMA Business School Paris and and a Master of Science in Management from LMU Munich.
When should apply for my visa?
As soon as you are done with your application!
If you are coming to Loyola University from outside the U.S., you will need to have a J-1 exchange visitor visa to enter the U.S. You cannot study full-time at the university on either a B-2 tourist visa or the visa waiver program.
Visa procedures vary from one consulate or embassy to another, so it is very important that you check the website of the U.S. consulate or embassy in your country for specific instructions. Click here to learn more about the visa application process.
Do I have to complete the additional Master's Thesis Project?
No. If students do not wish to complete the additional 15 credit hour thesis project, they will still graduate with their Global MBA degree. The additional thesis project is required only for students interested in earning the triple master (MBA, Grand Ecole, and Masters in Management from Loyola, SKEMA, and LMU respectively).
Will I get to choose my Thesis project topic and faculty partner?
Yes. If you are interested in writing your Thesis project for the triple master degrees, you will be able to apply to work with a specific professor and project topic. You will need to complete a Thesis application while in your last semester of the Global MBA curriculum with the LMU staff. After all applications are received, you will be assigned a faculty thesis advisor based on your preferences and availability. Please be sure to monitor your student email regarding the application time.

What is the total cost of the Global MBA--Triple Master program?
The program cost is $1,005 per credit hour, and our program ranges from 45 credit hours (Global MBA only) to 60 credit hours (Global MBA Triple Master) total. Overall tuition will be billed with tuition cost per term, in addition to university fees that are applied per semester enrolled.
Does my tuition payment include textbooks or other costs?
No. All tuition figures mentioned above are costs associated with the university tuition and fees only. All other costs incurred, including but not limited to: textbooks, room & board, travel to and from the United States, Paris and Munich, and visa applications, is not included in the estimate. Students should plan on incurring those additional costs separately.
Does the program offer any financial aid options?
Yes. We primarily offer two types of financial aid for all (domestic and international) students.
- Graduate Assistantships: The graduate assistantships are paid research assistant positions with the business faculty of Loyola, New Orleans. These positions will pay an hourly rate of $12 US. If you are interested in this role, you have to fill in a short Graduate Assistantship Application at the time of your application. On average, students can be awarded between 10 - 15 hours a week, depending on their availability, the faculty research project, and timeline.
- Merit-based scholarships: There are also merit-based scholarships, which all applicants are automatically reviewed for at the time of their application; therefore no additional application is required. These scholarships are merit based, and the admissions committee will make these decisions based on applicants' test scores (GMAT or GRE). This scholarship will cover a portion of the costs.
In addition, domestic students are eligible to apply for federal aid in forms of loans via their FAFSA application.
