Toby is a global energy, utility, and banking/financial industry executive senior commercial leader with 32 years domestic and global experience with a record of success in a variety of supply chain/commercial disciplines. His expertise in global scale end-to-end supply chains, quality management, analytics, and leading diverse functions with a shared vision in multi-location environments informs all his work. He effectively led global teams in NA, Asia, Europe, South America & Australia, leading people across boundaries/cultures, with his largest role leading and inspiring 400 commercial professionals across 24 countries.
Toby is currently a Senior Vice President with Hancock Whitney Bank. Prior, spanning 30 years, he was a former C-Suite executive at Shell PLC. Toby’s breadth and depth of experience embodies, across a global economy, the full spectrum of supply chains as well as senior leadership in building, leading, and inspiring organizations across the globe. Toby led transformations enhancing the ability to counter competition trends, capitalize on digitization & industry disruption, leveraging global spend, aggregating supply chain risk, attaining unique deal structures, bottom line savings and realizing/accelerating operational efficiencies to name a few. Currently, he is co-leading the build out of a state-of-the-art digitized supply chain trend setting in the banking/financial services industry.
Toby carries the designation of C.P.M. and has both an MSc in Quality Management, and MBA degrees from Loyola University, New Orleans, and a BS in Finance (Investments and Financial Institutions) from Louisiana State University. He completed advanced professional and executive leadership programs internally/externally with institutions such as IMD, Insead and has Shell executive & professional accreditations.
