About the Part-Time Program
About 80% of Loyola's MBA student body studies in the Professional 'Part-Time' program. This part-time track is ideal for experienced executives who have been working for a number of years and are interested in advancing their careers. Students can take as few as two courses per semester and still complete their degrees within two years.
Within the part-time track, students are also able to complete an optional "Specialization Track" in their desired areas of speciality. In addition, part-time students who are interested in earning an additional graduate degree at Loyola may apply for our dual-degree programs.
Application Deadlines and Rounds
The MBA program admits part-time students for the fall and spring semesters. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Application deadlines are below:
- June 30
- November 30
- International: May 15 and October 15
Admissions and Degree Requirements
- Application form
- $50 application fee
- Current résumé
- Admissions essay (Statement of Purpose)
- An official GMAT or GRE score report (In some instances, waivers may be considered.)
- Two letters of recommendation from professional references
- Official transcripts showing all college work attempted: undergraduate, graduate, and professional
A third-party evaluation of academic records (transcripts) is required for all applicants who attended or completed their bachelor's and/or master's degree outside of the United States. Loyola University’s MBA program accepts evaluations from the following agencies: 1) World Education Services (WES) or 2) Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE). We require the course-by-course evaluation for both. More information on the transcript evaluation process and the evaluation application can be found at www.wes.org or www.ece.org
Must also provide an affidavit of support showing sufficient funds to finance their course of study and living expenses.

Optional 'Specialization Tracks'
In addition to core courses, our MBA program offers optional specialization tracks designed to increase our graduates' marketability in their professional fields of interest. In order to pursue a specific elective track, students must take 9 credit hours (of required 12 hours of electives) in a specialty area. Our specialization track options include:

Students must apply and be admitted to these programs separately, but may benefit from credit-hour waivers when pursued simultaneously. Our dual-degree options are listed below.
