Student Life

Campus Activities

The MBA program has a very active MBA Student Association. The purpose of the association is to provide graduate business students with opportunities to develop leadership skills and to prepare for professional positions in the private and public sectors.

This organization provides an excellent means for MBA students to interact with other students, faculty, and community leaders. Students are also given the opportunity to discuss and initiate positive changes within the MBA program. Special meetings are scheduled with leaders from the civic and business community of greater New Orleans.

Just as important, the MBA Association ensures that while we all work hard in the program, we also have a lot of fun. The MBA Association is responsible for planning or assisting in the planning of the many social events that MBA students enjoy. These include community service and networking events. Membership is open to all MBA students.

Class Profile

The MBA program at Loyola University New Orleans is very diverse. Many of our MBA candidates have undergraduate business degrees, but an average of 50% of our students have non-business degrees in fields as diverse as engineering, journalism, education, and others.

Our students come from over 40 different undergraduate universities, including Boston College, George Washington University, Louisiana State University, Millsaps College, Purdue University, Rhodes College, Tulane University, the U. S. Naval Academy, Villanova University, and more.
