Elaine has 12 years of experience serving the audit practice of Deloitte & Touche and has significant experience serving SEC-registered companies and privately held entities.  She works closely with the engagement partner to coordinate and execute the services provided to her clients.  Her portfolio includes a wide range of clients in the not-for-profit, higher-education, gaming, healthcare, and governmental industries.  Elaine has also facilitated a number of Firm-sponsored continuing education sessions, both at the local level and national level.  Elaine is a key member in recruiting talent from Loyola University, Tulane University, and the University of New Orleans by participating in programs sponsored by Beta Alpha Psi, as well as leading presentations for the honorary society.

As a native of New Orleans, Elaine is heavily involved in the community. She currently serves and has served as Treasurer and Board Member of Arise Schools since 2010. Her tenure began with Arise Schools holding one charter, Arise Academy, and since such time, Arise Schools obtained a second charter for Mildred Osborne Charter School. Elaine was a key member in assisting Arise Schools in petitioning for a second charter to the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. Additionally, Elaine is a member of the Finance Committee of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and leads the New Orleans Women’s Initiative (WIN) for the New Orleans practice. In her role as WIN champion, she coordinates the New Orleans office’s participation in various events throughout the year, including a number of “Super Service Challenges” hosted by the Brees Dream Foundation and Companies With A Mission.  As a member of the Young Leadership Council, Elaine contributes to “Power Ties”, which is a career awareness program that connects professionals from various career backgrounds with 8th grade students at area New Orleans public schools to talk about career readiness and business etiquette.   Other activities include volunteering with the Louisiana Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Junior Achievement in connection with Deloitte’s “Impact Day” (community service day), and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.
