Frank Cestero was born in New York City and raised in Palm Beach, Florida and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Both of his parents are from Puerto Rico, so he was raised speaking both English and Spanish, which has been a great benefit in both his personal life and in his career.
In 1989, Frank graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach. He went on to get a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Auburn University. After 9 years working in the Shipping/Maritime Industry, he decided to go back to school and get an MBA from Loyola. While at Loyola, he interned at Mayor Nagin’s office, in the Office of International Business Development.
Upon graduation, Frank worked for 1 year writing grants and proposals for Public Housing Authorities. He finally moved on to a Financial Controller Position at Walton Construction. For about 6 years, he has been managing approximately ½ billion annual revenue for one of the biggest construction companies in the Gulf Coast Region.
For fun, Frank likes to snow ski, play volleyball and compete in triathlons. He is also a very avid Auburn University football fan.
