Laura Fuentes was born in Spain and raised on Tapas. She moved to the United States during high school and has lived in Germany and Italy as well. Her multicultural background and her interest for international business set her apart with her “visionary” drive.
She earned a Bachelors Degree in Global Economic Relations from the University of the Pacific in California in 2000. That summer, she moved to New Orleans to earn an MBA in Marketing and Business Development from the University of New Orleans. In graduate school, she fell in love with a southern gentleman and the rest, as they say, is history.
After working in the corporate world for five years, she took time off to raise her children and revamp her career focus. She has spent the past two years writing, consulting, and involving herself in Social Media. She loves to help small businesses “think outside the box” through the use of social media campaigns; as well as helping them save money with non-traditional marketing. She writes in her personal blog and has been a kid’s food and recipe contributor for parenting, health, and food related online magazines for over a year.
She is currently the Chief Executive Officer at MOMables™; a company dedicated to feeding children uncomplicated good food through healthy, homemade school lunches. Her life is focused on family, parenting, health, and good food by using Social Media to promote it all!
