About the Loyola MBA Program

New Orleans Skyline at Night

A commitment to excellence & service

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Loyola develops graduates capable of adding value to organizations and society through the application of theory and practice. Our program provides knowledge delivered through a coordinated and integrated curriculum taught by faculty members committed to excellence in their professions and academic concentrations.

The Loyola MBA mission is to inspire students to be critical thinkers, innovators, and principled leaders who make lasting contributions to society. The Loyola MBA prepares students to use best-in-class organizational leadership practices as modeled by the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, the American Society for Quality, and other organizations.

Through our unique partnerships with the New Orleans business community, the Loyola MBA program offers students real-world opportunities that make a difference. In their coursework, Loyola MBA students have consulted on venture capital decisions, have developed quality improvement programs for local public services, and have worked with entrepreneurs competing in New Orleans Entrepreneurship Week. Every Loyola MBA student also completes a community service project.

Who is the Loyola MBA designed for?

Whether you recently completed your undergraduate program or are an experienced professional looking for a competitive edge, we have a program for you. Our full-time, fast track MBA is designed with the ambitious and devoted student in mind, intended to be completed in a full calendar year. Our part-time executive style MBA is intended to be taken at a slower pace, ideal for professionals working full-time that are interested in taking six or fewer credit hours per academic semester.
