Fernando Rivera, BBA '04

Managing Director, Goldman Sachs

Fernando is global co-head of FICC Sales Strats and Structuring, a team focused on delivering innovation to the firm's clients. He is also head of Americas EM Regional Sales and co-head of Latin America Structured Credit Trading and Lending. Fernando is a member of the Global Banking & Markets (GBM) Investment Committee, Partnership Committee, Retirement Committee, Americas Inclusion and Diversity Committee, and GBM Inclusion and Diversity Committee. He also serves as Americas sponsor of the Hispanic/Latinx Network. Prior to his current role, Fernando served as head of the FICC Americas Structuring and Solutions Group. He joined Goldman Sachs as an associate in 2006, and was named managing director in 2012 and partner in 2022.

Prior to joining the firm, Fernando was part of the Financial Institutions Derivatives Marketing team for Latin America at JPMorgan for two years.

Fernando currently serves as a national board member for the Council of Urban Professionals.

Fernando earned a BBA in Finance and Economics from Loyola University in 2004.
