Lecturer of Legal Studies
For the past thirteen years, Chris Screen has been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Law at Loyola University New Orleans. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans in 1972 and his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University in 1975. In 1975, Prof. Screen joined the law firm of Milling, Benson, Woodward, Hillyer and Pierson as an associate. Two years later, he became a Staff Attorney in the Legal Department of Entergy New Orleans, Inc. In 1983, Prof. Screen became a solo practitioner in Metairie, Louisiana. In 1986, he rejoined Entergy as a Staff Attorney for Entergy Services, Inc., where he retired in 2006. Following retirement from Entergy, Prof. Screen immediately joined the College of Business of Loyola University New Orleans as a full time member of the faculty. Prof. Screen’s classes include Legal Environment of Business, Business Law for Accountants, International Business Law, Business and the U.S. Constitution and a Freshman Experience course entitled Investigating the Constitution. In 2013, Prof. Screen won the Faculty Senate Award for Outstanding Service.
