Peter Correia, CPA – Tax Director, Globalstar, Inc.
As Tax Director of Globalstar, Inc., Peter Correia oversees all the U.S. and international income tax and indirect tax compliance and planning. Peter joined Globalstar in July 2013 as Federal and State Tax Manager and was later promoted to Tax Director in May 2014. Globalstar, Inc. provides Mobile Satellite Services, including voice and data communications services globally, seeking to meet customers’ increasing desire and demand for connectivity.
After graduating from Loyola, Peter started his career in Tax with Ernst & Young, New Orleans. He later joined a local firm, Rigby Financial Group, as a Tax Manager prior to joining Globalstar. Peter also had the exciting opportunity to work as an intern for the New Orleans Saints during his senior year of college.
Originally from New York, Peter graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2008 with a Bachelor of Accountancy. While at Loyola he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He enjoys volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Youth Run Nola. He also assisted with the establishment of Globalstar’s Employee Wellness Program.
