Braden LaRuffa

Braden is in his eleventh season with the New York Yankees and his seventh in his current role as Assistant Director, International Scouting. In his current role, Braden assists the Director, International Scouting with all facets of the department, including but not limited to player evaluations, player acquisitions, staffing, Major League rules and International Amateur Talent Acquisition administration and compliance, video and data collection.

The Long Island, New York, native began his career in professional baseball as a Florida Operations Intern with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the 2012 season. He began his tenure with the Yankees as a Player Development Video Operations Intern in 2014 and moved to the International Scouting department in 2016 to serve as the department's Video Coordinator. He was then promoted to Assistant to Director, International Scouting - Quality Control in 2018 and to his current role in 2019.
