Samantha grew up in Slidell, Louisiana and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2014 with a major in Accounting. During Samantha’s time at Loyola she participated on campus as a Krewe Leader, accounting tutor for the MBA program, treasurer for Beta Alpha Psi, and was a Work Study student. In addition to being active on campus, Samantha had seasonal internships at Pan American Life Insurance Group, Loyola University Internal Audit department, and Ernst & Young.
Since graduating from Loyola, Samantha accepted a full time offer from the Ernst & Young Forensics & Integrity Services group and has become a Certified Public Accountant. Samantha’s main focus at Ernst & Young is disaster recovery grant management and business interruption insurance claims. Her main goal is assisting clients with the financial recovery of natural disasters, including COVID-19. She works with clients in a variety of industries such as Government & Public Sector, Healthcare, Consumer Products & Retail, and Hospitality.
In Samantha’s free time she volunteers with the Animal Rescue of New Orleans. She also enjoys gardening to harvest fall and spring vegetables.
