Professional Clubs
Students in the College of Business are encouraged to supplement their classroom experience with membership and participation in any of the following student organizations.
Business Analytics Association
The Business Analytics Association (BAA) provides students with opportunities to build skills in data analysis, visualization, and evidence-based decision-making. Through practical workshops, software training, industry panels, and project-based learning, the association empowers students to translate data into actionable business insights across disciplines and sectors. The organization affirms its alignment with Loyola’s Jesuit mission and commitment to developing students as leaders, scholars, and persons for others.
Economics Club
The Economics Club is designed to stimulate interest in economics among university students. Economics is a social science that analyzes the relationship between human behavior and the production and exchange of goods and services. Club activities are designed to promote an understanding of current economic issues, current economic controversies, and the role that economics plays in personal and professional decision-making. The Economics Club is open to all majors.
Finance & Investments Association (FIA)
The Finance & Investments Association helps students explore financial markets, investing, and careers in finance. Through guest speakers, investing activities, and career development events, students connect classroom learning with practical experience. FIA also connects students with alumni and industry professionals to learn about different career paths and build professional relationships.
Kamrin Jones is our president and primary student contact (krjones@my.loyno.edu), and I serve as the faculty advisor.
Marketing & Communications Association
The Marketing & Communications Association (MCA) empowers students to explore the dynamic fields of branding, consumer behavior, digital marketing, advertising, and strategic communication. Through workshops, case competitions, guest speakers, and creative projects, the organization helps students develop the skills and confidence to craft compelling messages, connect with audiences, and lead in a fast-changing marketing landscape. The organization affirms its alignment with Loyola’s Jesuit mission and commitment to developing students as leaders, scholars, and persons for others.
The Management Studio
The Management Studio helps students build the workplace and leadership skills that turn classroom learning into career readiness. Through hands-on activities, professional development, networking, guest speakers, and team experiences, members practice essential skills such as communication, interviewing, collaboration, presenting, networking, and leadership in a welcoming and supportive environment. Students also have opportunities to build meaningful connections, take on leadership roles, help shape club activities, and connect with professionals and fellow students. With an emphasis on learning by doing, The Management Studio gives students the confidence, skills, and real-world experiences they can carry into internships, interviews, their first jobs, and future leadership roles.
