Dr. Martin completed a Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems and Robotics from the University of West Florida, focusing her research on AI and cognitive models. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Psychology from the University of New Orleans. Her industry experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at LinkedIn, where she contributed to the recommendation systems of the LinkedIn Learning platform. There, she developed novel sequence-to-sequence models that recommended personalized career paths to users.

Following LinkedIn, she joined Intuit as a Data Scientist, where she deployed generative AI models to improve customer service experiences. She also worked on recommendation systems that leverage big data and user clickstream behavior, further expanding her expertise in AI applications. 

In addition to her technical contributions, Dr.Martin founded the Parents and Caregivers Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Intuit, which provided support and resources to employees balancing their careers with caregiving responsibilities.

Currently, Dr.Martin teaches courses in AI and business, equipping students with the skills they need to navigate the fast-paced world of technology and innovation. She is dedicated to preparing the next generation of professionals to harness AI's transformative potential in practical and impactful ways.
