Dr. Denver Travis, CFA is the holder of the Chase/Francis C. Doyle Distinguished Professorship in the College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans. His area of expertise is investments, limits to arbitrage, exchange-traded funds, fixed income securities, derivative securities, behavioral finance, corporate finance, and financial education. His research has been published in journals such as The Journal of Investing, The Journal of Derivatives, The Journal of Fixed Income, & The Journal of Wealth Management.

At Loyola, Dr. Travis manages the CFA Institute University Affiliate Program and the Bloomberg Terminal in the Loyola Trading Room. He is also a co-advisor to the One-Million-Dollar Loyola Student Managed Investment Fund. The combination of these three Loyola programs is what he likes to call “THE LOYOLA WALL STREET TRIFECTA” to successfully train Loyola Finance students for Wall Street level careers.
