Welcome to the College of Business. As a student here, you will be part of a learning environment that few places can match. Indeed, New Orleans is a unique multi-cultural environment, unlike anywhere else in the world, that breeds tremendous innovation and creativity. When you encounter the rich culture of New Orleans, we think that you will agree that your opportunities here are endless. The programs of the College of Business utilize our diverse surroundings to help our students to understand and compete in today's global marketplace.
The College of Business focuses not just on classroom education but also on preparing our students to be immediately effective in the work force of their chosen discipline. Loyola’s small class sizes, the opportunity to develop strong relationships with peers and faculty, and a responsive support staff provides a personalized, individual approach to education – to fulfill our vision of equipping our students to go from the classroom to careers and empowering business leaders of tomorrow. Both undergraduate and graduate students will take part in a unique set of educational opportunities that use the city to create the many rich learning and mentoring experiences which enhance Loyola's business program. For instance, freshmen in the College of Business participate in our innovative Executive Mentor Program and upper class students do a semester-long comprehensive Internship.
Today, more than ever, businesses need ethical, inclusive leaders who invite trust, build community, and value their professional responsibility more than self-interest. Rooted in the 500-year-old Jesuit tradition, students in the College of Business become part of a distinguished learning community created to cultivate the next generation of ethical business leaders.
