Loyola student awarded McGowan Scholarship

Loyola University New Orleans is proud to announce Jennifer Moreale, an economics major, as the first recipient of the McGowan Scholarship, which provides selected universities with scholarships to help students who wish to pursue a business education.

Loyola University New Orleans is proud to announce its first recipient of the McGowan Scholarship, which provides selected universities with scholarships to help students who wish to pursue a business education. 

Jennifer Moreale, an economics major, was selected by a faculty committee to receive the scholarship.

The McGowan Scholarship program was started by William G. McGowan, founder and chairman of MCI Communications, and is designed to encourage leadership ability, interpersonal skills and a significant involvement in academic, campus and community activities. It also recognizes excellence of character, a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial potential.
